We enjoyed the weekend at Willits, CA at the KOA campground with the Paradise GWTA group and others from two other Chapters. It was a good turnout and there were several from Chapter P and we all had fun.

     Cesar and Virginia stayed in their motor home right next to the tent area. There was a potluck dinner on Sat. night with plenty to eat. The 50/50 was worth $90 on Friday night and Virginia won. It was worth $118 on Sat. night but others won that. The Campground had been taken over by new owners and it had really been upgraded.

     Cesar & Virginia’s friends, Eric and Norma, came over on Saturday morning in time to go on the ride to the coast — Ukiah to the Coast, Ft. Bragg and back to Willits (about 155 miles). There were 11 Motorcycles on this ride with 17 people. We had lunch at a nice restaurant on the beach at Pt. Arena.

     There were two other groups that went on other rides – one went to the Red Woods and another to the wineries.

     Gus and Ingrid plus Jacob and Joseph, their grandsons, spent the weekend camping with them. Robert and Kalama plus Jody also camped in their trailers.

     Our son Mark camped in his Kwik Kamp - Mel and I stayed in our Bunkhouse trailer. We enjoyed the weekend. The weather was cool on Sat but warmed up for the ride home on Sun with the hottest temperature being 82 degrees in Antioch.
