Blossom Trail Ride - 09

      What a great weekend! Saturday morning I got up & headed out for Fresno to go on the Blossom Trail Ride. The weather was overcast but nice. I rode down to Los Banos & fueled up & stopped for breakfast, then went on to my hotel arriving about 10:00 am & my room was ready. I went in & rested for a little while waiting for later in the day to go visiting.
     I hunted up some friends that I hadn't seen for quite a long time & I lucked out because Vernon & Glenda were home & we talked about what has been going on since the last time we were together. Later I hunted up another friend which I seem to only get to see on Blossom Trail Ride day. I enjoy seeing Bonny & visiting if only for a short while but it is well worth the day getting to visit with her. After getting my visiting done I then hunted up the place where the GWTA group would meet for dinner at the Round Table Pizza.
     At 6 PM we all met & had a great evening & dinner & A few of the guys were harassing each other for some of the bloopers that had been made over the past year, making it a fun evening, there were around thirty there.
     Sunday I got up to a warm dry overcast morning & went over to Herndon to the sheriff's gun range where we met to start our Blossom Trail Ride. The weather was perfect & you can’t believe all the Blossoms that were out. It was one of the prettiest ride I have ever been on! The weather was 70 degrees & light overcast skies & DRY so it turned out to be a great day. I just wish more of my group could have been there to enjoy it with the rest of us.
     On the way home the weather was dry to Westley & it rained over Altamont pass, then dry again (so little rain that I hardly noticed it & so ended another fun ride & am now waiting for the next one which will be the State Rally in Mariposa. Come on fellows & join us.
