George, Herb, Harry & Karen, Ken & Bev, Leonard & Tammy, Virginia & Cesar, Robert & Terri all met at 8:00 am at Sizzler’s in Concord for a ride to Alice’s restaurant located across the bay in Woodside CA.
It was very foggy when we left Concord, but by the time we were half way through the canyon on Crow canyon road, we broke out into the sunshine & the weather was perfect for riding.
We went through Hayward & over the San Mateo Bridge, through San Mateo & on west to Skyline drive up on top of the coast hills. Then south through the beautiful wooded hills on a fun twisty road to Alice’s restaurant where there was as many motorcycles as we usually see at regular bike rallys.
There were all types, rice rockets, old Triumph's, Hondas, Harleys even an old Ural (Russian) & quite a few antiques & of course three Goldwing trikes plus five or six Goldwing bikes.
Breakfast was great it was on a big porch where they had picnic tables with a propane heater tree at each table boy it was nice & warm. After breakfast we got on our bikes & continued on west on more curvy roads on to Half Moon Bay.
When arriving in the old part of town, we found parking & some of us wondered around town window-shopping & others started out for home. I was one of the latter as I have a little trouble walking, so after driving out for a view of the ocean, then headed east back over the hills to San Mateo.
The traffic was light so that made it into a nice ride, arriving home around 3:00 p m ending another fun day & am now wondering what is coming up next. OH YES, our Christmas Party on the 21st at Marie Callender’s.
See you all there! In Friendship HERB.
